We used to do that before our current set-up. The problem with shared iTunes is that the 1 guy who's mac is connected to the hifi speakers would have to select all the music all the time.
What we want is a system that works like a traditional jukebox. Where each person selcts some song to be played and they all get cued up in the order they were chosen. It needs to be democratic in a 'first come, first served' setting, where everyone can select music from their terminals.
