Dell 2405 for Motion ?

I've got a 2405 on my old, old Dual 867 G4
Running it off of a 64MB Radeon 9000 and it works fineHowever, I have had problems with this LCD randomly flickering since I got it. It would be fine for a few days, and then it would flicker in spasms for 10mins to 1 hour completely randomly.
I replaced the video card, cable, moved it around, changed settings etc.
Took me 3 weeks to find a workaround.
Dell would NOT send me a new one because the self test ran fine (you cant see light flickering when the self test is running regardless, but those fuckers didnt listen to me)
I actually had one Indian guy who ARGUED with me telling me that there was no way it could be the screen (even though I had already cleared everything with Apple, and in my lengthy experience with computers - I know what a bugged screen looks like)I don't know if it's a cultural thing, but that guy was an ass and stubborn and insulting as hell.
He then tried to transfer me to their monitor specialists but then hung up on me.
(this was the 8th time I had called support)The workaround I found was to bump the brightness back up to 24
(it ships set at 50, which is WAY bright for a Mac)I would give Dell's support an F for "fucking assholes"
The screen, I would give an A- only because of this issue I had.
It hasn't flickered since I bumped the brightness, and otherwise it's wonderful.BUT DONT WORRY!
Dell ASSURES me there is nothing wrong with the monitor.Fuckers.
