    Really, it's the printers fault as he shouldn't be modifying your artwork – if he was on the ball enough to spot an error, he should have called.

    But on the other hand, you should have got a printers proof for you and your client to sign off – 99% of the time there's something there to change even at that stage.

    Take the flak, pay for the reprint and it'll be burned into your memory enough for it not to happen again.

    At the end of the day, it's your job to take care of everything from start to finish — this will just make you that bit more thorough.
