    I think the deal is this: if you are an offspring of someone from the old country, then you can apply for a passport/citizenship for that country. but I don't know (suppose you were born in America) if you have to deny your citizenship in America (or enter country of birth here) I DO know that if you are second generation (for example my grand parents were from spain) I could apply for citizenship in spain or EU, but I would have to live there for an entire year before I could be accepted. along with other strict rules.. .or something... Im no lawyer so don't quote me on this.

    Sweet deal, you ever travel there, your EU passport gets you through line.
