    Your rate is less important than your quoting. Many clients like to hear a low rate and are happy to pay whatever it costs as long as they feel they're getting a good rate - just allow plenty of extra time for stuffing around with a startup - they won't have their business plan, company goals, vision, etc. all set out yet so guaranteed they're going to still be in 'deciding mode' and not know what they want until they see it. Add 50% extra hours in your quote - you will use them.
