that reminds me.... one time I woke up to the smell of burning plastic. I jumped out of bed- ran to the kitchen-nothing, in fact the smell got less severe.
I followed my nose to the street side of the housei looked out the window where a pickup truck was engulfed in flames! It was smoking, and actual flames coming from he cab and windsheild seals. It was popping and crackling.
Fire dept. showed up within 30 seconds of me seeign this. It was crazy- it took 'em at least 30 minutes to put it out cos it was burning so hot.
And the smell- ugh- I'll never forget it.
