The legitimacy of faith rests in it's object and the credibilty of that object. The flying spaghetti monster lacks credibility, i.e. there is no historical evidence to support it's existance, it is not responsible for countless changed lives, or the division of history, there are not miraculously preserved manuscripts with fulfilled prophecy and which stand up under the scrutiny of textual criticism which support it's existance, etc... etc...
