    not sure. i guess it was just a dif. setting compared to nyc.

    i guess what really struck me as dif. was when i was sitting on the deck of her family's house. first off, my friends apt. that i was staying at (and everybody else i knew living in nyc) the thought of a deck was ridiculous.

    and second, the thought of people actually owning a house in nyc (like they did in jc) was beyond ridiculous.

    i'm from minneapolis, so that pretty much explains it all
