Long Island Vacation Spots / NYC Car Rental Aug 22, 11, 7:35 a.m.

Looking to take a mini vacation this weekend in Long Island, preferably in Montauk. Main thing we need is a beach, and a place that allows pets.

Also looking for recommendations in car rentals in NYC. Zipcar charges about $139 a day, so if there's a better deal that would be great.
