Was unexpectedly made redundant 2 days before christmas and have yet to find anything particularly solid of worth on the job front. It's getting to the point where I may have to move to a southern state :(

How do you stack up relevance to others?

Whether it be because you're a troll or are helpful & insightful, someone will click on that little blue username and that gets recorded every time as a profile view. From a quick selection of active random users, Pango scored highest for click throughs per topic and myself per post:

I recently got a new macbook and somewhat of an audiophile, whilst normally content with my senheisers I'm looking to get some speakers to compliment my laptop for when there is more than just me in the room. (am starting to do some audio production as a hobby) Ideally something that has airplay so it can be controlled via other idevices, but more importantly can sync directly (bluetooth?) with OSX as the default audio output..which part of a wider move to reduce cables in my workspace.

Any products worth looking at/avoiding?

The original concept replaced the cursor with large chopsticks so the site was more gesture based, there was going to be animated origami and the sushi mat would actually roll out. Unfortunately all these cool things never came to be. The client also did a pretty bad job on the content sadly.. Nonetheless it is up for an award that I would really like to win, and would appreciate any votes you would be willing to give :)

It is also the only Australian site to be nominated so far in the awards (that we can tell.)

Very cool practical example of the rendering power that's now available in flash.

We started building a tech demo like this ourselves with a 250,000 polygon model of a car the other day and it was looking beautiful using away3D, a shame that ours was only that. Digitas beat us to the mark well and truly :(

I'm an iPad owner, and it makes me sad to think I'll probably not see anything like this in it's browser for a while..

Hey guys,

Illustrator keeps saving out files and in the process the gradients are getting lost. The objects which have gradients get filled with 100% black when you re-open the file..

Anyone else had this problem??

So today a delivery man came into the office with a large box. Curiously, it was a delivery for a small design shop who share some of our office space.

They ordered 20,000 business cards in 1 type of card for a small restaurant starting up locally. That's pretty keen.

Hoping to use this on a site - from what I understand reading the license, it is ok to embed on a site using css as long as the amount of users does not exceed 1000 per day.
