Is there a way to have a div's height change proportionally to the width? For example, if I have a div that is a square with width:75% as I resize the browser window width, I want the div to remain a square not just the width to change.

Any tips on making smooth Jquery animations?
When I apply a few animations simultaneously to an image (slide, scale and opacity). I get a fair bit of choppy pixel shifting.

Is there a technique to smooth this out. It looks similar to not having "bitmap smoothing" turned on in Flash.

I'm trying to figure out how to have multiple animations with different durations occur simultaneously on the same element.

For example
1) I want an element to slide left 1000 over 10 seconds.
2) During the 1st 2 seconds of the slide in I want the opacity to animate from 0 to 1.
3) During the last 2 seconds I want the opacity to animate from 1 to 0.

Basically having an object sliding left to right fade in and fade out while sliding.

This seems to cover the 1st 2 steps, any suggestions on how to trigger the last fadeout?

iPad / iPhone colour Mar 7, 12, 1:56 p.m.

I have a logo that uses Pantone green (369c). When I look at a pdf of this logo on an iPad or iPhone the green appears almost neon. If I look at it on my laptop or Monitor the green looks fine. It is only the one colour that is shifting and it's really extreme. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? It doesn't matter if I convert it to CMYK or leave it Pantone - the shift is still there.
