What font has a strange #9 like this? It can't be News Gothic, right?

Is this a font or is it custom? Looks like it's based on helvetica neue, but the G's and A's differ a bit.

It's not rounded btw.

And btw2: why am I seeing this site with anti-aliased text (firefox/OSX)?

I think it's got something to do with relative vs. absolute positioning, but is there a way around it?

Hello,
a friend of mine would like to make a webpage where customers can enter their adress. However, if they're already registered customers, their adress is listed in an excel-file (wich I guess can be easily converted to say XML) and they should only have to enter their customer ID and then the input forms (where other customers input their adress) should be filled out with the registered adress.

Can anybody point me (him) to good resources/tutorials for this? I'm google-ing like crazy, but any links would be gratly apreciated.

1. One that lets you pick a colour from the screen, like a global eyedropper.

2. One that lets you measure the amount of pixels between two points on the screen.

Hi,
this is something that has been bugging me for a while, but I've never really taken the time to figure it out:

In illustrator, how do you join two open endpoints that are in teh exact same place?

For instance, I trace a lot of stuff that I want to be symmetrical - usually I start off tracing one half of the object, than copying and mirroring the path. Then, obviously, I want to Join the two (or four actually) endpoints in the absolute center, but I cant seem to select two endpoints that are in the same place, snapped to eachother sort of.

(What I end up doing is zooming in as far as I can and move one of the paths a nudge to one side, so that I can select both.)

I would really appreciate some help with this :)

I have a bit of a problem.

I have a div containing text inside another div with a border.

The div with the border doesn't seem to understand how big and tall the textdiv is, so the border ends up going straight across the text.

To add to the problem, I have no way to control the outer div, the one with the border, i.e. i can't alter the code or CSS for that div.

So, is there anything I can do with the textdiv to make it "push down" the border to the bottom of the text? For example, can I do anything with the display declaration?

Hi there,
I have recently developed two similar sites wich are built in flash but has xml content inserted in html-textfields. (i.e. href-tags and such for links).

On one of the sites, I can link to external URL's and have them open in blank browser windows. On the other, however, in the adress field of the new window that opens I get the url for the flash site, then a questionmark and then the actual URL that I want to open.

I can't find any real difference between the two sites, has anyone had this problem? Thanks in advance!
