I know there are like 1,000,000 headphone threads on here already but they all just consist of online retailers.

Anyone know a good place in NYC to try on all the swank headphones referenced the those threads? I want to be able to try on replacements before i shell out the money thou.

My MDRv700 Sony's are killing me, never thought ears could actually hurt before.

I remember reading a couple good articles about why doing comp work / free design before you even are under contract is stupid.

Does anyone recall these? I am trying to show my friend that he is being stupid and not respecting himself as a designer by doing free work just to secure a shitty client.

is it just me or does slicing a design in cs3 suck.
used to be nice to be able to export it to image ready.

i am naming all my slices and i have to double click on them.

also no way to edit the optimization for each slice individually.
