AE scrubber problem Dec 11, 08, 8:08 p.m.

This is bizarre.. not sure what happened, but suddenly in AE CS3, the timeline scrubber doesn't update the composition area as you drag it. It just sits there at freeze-frame until you drag it to a new time and let go... it's killing me here, I'm afraid I might have accidentally toggled a setting but can't find it anywhere.

Any ideas?

After this ridiculous pepsi rebranding, I started realizing just how the era of 1985 to around 94 was the perfect time for just about..everything.

Especially pizza and soda. Seriously, for some reason, the packaging back then was just perfect across the board. The food looked so much *better*.

There's countless other examples. Just think of the original + second Ninja Turtles movie. I don't think any movie has made the pizza+soda combination more appealing, ever.

Also, not to get too nostalgic, but Channel 11 New York was literally the greatest cable station of all time, until WB swallowed it up. Saturday afternoon movie rosters of Masters of the Universe, Rambo movies, or Police Academy.. perfection.

I need to get away with the girlfriend for about a week. Nothing insane, nothing too pricey. I was thinking Quebec City, since it's a pretty short flight from NYC.. I loved Montreal but know nothing about QC. Is there enough nightlife and interesting things to entertain a week?

If not, recommend something else that's easily plannable on a short-whim basis.
