Does anyone have an example of a publication design style guide they could share?

Need to give all my design specs from approved mocks to a client and team of designers, but I haven't created a comprehensive style guide for a publication before. Thought it might be nice to see an example before I plow ahead..

I'm not a flash user but I'm learning on the job. so question:

How do you loop an animation a specific number of times (3 in this case) and then have it stop at a specific key frame (the first one in this case)

I input:

var noOfLoops = 3;

if (loop == undefined) {
loop = 1;
} else {
loop++;
if (loop == noOfLoops) {
stop();
}
}

in the last key frame.. so it runs 3 times and stops. but I want it to run 3 times and then stop on the first frame.

I'm sure this is a fairly easy thing, I jut thought I'd ask here and save some time.

is there anywhere anyone knows where one could find expensive font families for free (even illegally?) to try before you buy?. I'm thinking vllg, font bureau type quality.
I just want to play with them and even pitch before spending the money and being stuck with expensive shit I don't use...

Sooo, it's sounds like kind of an oxymoron, but can anyone recommend really good design aimed at kids (like kindergarten age).

Working on a project/ in brainstorming mode/ looking for some inspiration. but most all kids design is kind of crap.

has anyone here used indxr w/ godaddy hosting? I'm encountering a really annoying stats folder that cannot be made invisible, because I'm told I don't have the privileges to modify it. SO i can't set up folders without the damn stats folder showing up on the menu.. If I create a subdomain in order to eliminate this issue, can I then forward my domain name to a root domain..

Work-arounds, i know.. Print designer learning website design -- need a site up in the next few days..

might have to settle for an inaccesible stat folder.. X(

hey, so I'm trying to use indxr to set a website quickly. I don't have a web design background, so I thought this would be a good route for the meantime while Im learning.
Through what is I'm sure a total ignorance on my part it requires me to use MySQL (so doeswordpress..indexhibit, yeah?) and Im confused. I don't even really know what that means.. can I create a database through my host.. what specifically do I need to do?

Can anyone give me a bit of direction?
