was just installed on our apple computers by the i.t. department. their reasoning was so that they could push software updates and patches to us. also giving them the ability to test the patches/application/update before it's pushed out. i'm sorry... apple already pushes out updates quite well via their own software updater.

it also just so happens a 1tb drive is now running on his desk the very same week they activated landesk on our machines.

i was born at night but not last night... this is being used to track our machines eh?

i'm a week and a half ahead of schedule on a project, the cd is out for the day, it's 2:30pm and the internet is fk'n BORING right now. i've exhausted all the sites i normally frequent (gizmodo, espn, chunkyasses) and spent a solid 2 hours on youtube watching jet crash videos. haha.

snapped these last night as a pretty nasty storm rolled in. the first i snapped as we were walking out of the store, the second i snapped just before i got into the car, when i realized the clouds had started to swirl together... i would have snapped more but my wife was screaming at me to get in the car and get the hell out of there. as were were speeding off like some kind of scene from the dukes of hazzard just as quickly as the clouds formed a funnel and started to come down, it dispersed and went back up.

if it had formed it would have been a massive tornado. sorry for the shitty quality of the images. pretty amazing though.

a buddy of mine just bought a house and i stopped over with a case of house-warming goodness. the house i guess is 80+ years old and has only had one owner. it's kind of in bad shape, shitty wallpaper, old fixtures... whatever. so we're kicking back some beers and decide to check out the attic to see how bad of shape it's in. i pull down the stairs and take a peak to find it's filled with junk. or so at least on first glance until we started going through shit.

i pull this out of a maroon velvet bag...

i didn't get a photo of it but a bit later i found some vintage louis vuitton luggage stored away under some blankets. it's a fucking goldmine up here! haha. ps. beers and vintage shit are awesome.

happy friday you magnificent suns a bitchez! i'm currently creating some sketches and ideas for a companies intranet and they have a catchphrase going along the lines of 'charting a healthy future today...' blah blah. i'm looking for any nice sites that use maybe old maps, nicely rolled corners, maybe old parchment paper treatment, road signs, anything of that nature. i know apple has some really nice road sign stuff going on right now for their sdk but i'm in need of some other inspiration. any ideas? thanks in advance all. -kona bologna

A 'heads up' for those of us men who may be regular Home Depot customers.

Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.

Here's how the scam works:

Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are loading your purchases into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts--it is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they simply say 'No', and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot or Lowes. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen on September 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th & 24th. Also on October 1st, 4th, twice on the 6th, three times just yesterday, and very likely this coming weekend.

So tell your friends to be careful.

Hey. I have an image of a photograph illustrated and I'd like to get it printed out poster size. Does anyone know of a good place that will allow me to upload the file, get it printed at a somewhat large size then ship it back? I found two places and they kinda seem shaddy. I want nice quality on good stock ya know.
