i keep running into this weird situation on shared hosts.. before switching dns, where the dev site's address will be: xxx.xxx.xx.xx/~name which is annoying both to give to the client and for wp templating purposes.

i'd prefer not to keep throwing one of my "extra" domain names at these to tidy things up. or is that the easiest solution?

i have a media temple gs account for my own website, tried to throw a subdomain at this external shared host - no dice.

I'm moving into a sassy new office this week. I'm trying to save a few bucks and put my old G5 Imac (pre-intel) to good use.

Is there any way to hook up my mirrored hardware raid and/or usb printer to this old imac and access it wirelessly from my MBP?

Ideally id like to make this machine "drive" my usb printer and usb time machine volume so I don't need to plug them into my laptop.

Is this possible?

anyone else get the chronic 1-2 second beachballs every 10-20 seconds or so on their MBP? driving me NUTS.....

i webt as far as to reinstall OS X and re download firefox. same crap (even with all add-ons off)

i have a small maxtor drive in my office i use for daily crap. when i bring the machine home i have my large raid that i want to keep long term incremental backups on.

is it possible to use 2 time machines with one mac without going in and switching drives and getting errors and crap?
