Anybody else getting this spam? I don't know how the hell they do it, but they manage to spam several addys my firm uses locally that have never been posted online for a spider to crawl.

I also have a bunch of gmail addys too, redirected to my regular email they've managed to find. Fuckers.

And Apple Mail REFUSES to learn to filter it out, even though I've tried to teach it hundreds of times.

Trying to do a fairly simple motion thingy, but would love to find some .fla's that are similar to what I'm supposed to do. Where can I download some nice flash templates these days? Haven't touched that stuff in years and years. Well, actually, emecks tried to teach me but I'm a ridiculously slow learner.

My firm rarely does any web work, we mostly charge for advice and let other people do the work, but I just got out of a meeting with one of our clients who wanted a rush job because their web agency just went bust.

This is particularly interesting because this client is one of the largest movie studios in the world (very active in the anti-piracy debate) and I was sitting there with their Scandinavian executive, listening to him go on and on about this promo site he needed to have built *today*.

Him: "Yeah, so we want to have lots of dark colors, the trailer in these different sizes for the visitor to click on, behind the scenes, photo albums, meet the cast, and all of these awesome sound clips from the movie playing in the background - as for the design we are kinda flexible, look for something cool on the web and, you know, just use it..."

Me: "Uh huh . okay... right... Wait... I'm sorry, what was that last thing?"

Him: "There's tons of great stuff out there, see if you can find something cool that we can use. As long as it's done quickly!"

Me: "I'm... not sure that's such a good idea, using someone elses work like that. But the team will come up with something great, I'm sure"

Him: "Super!"
