Slideshow/Movie Jan 5, 12, 6:15 p.m.

I told a friend I would try and put something together for her daughters 16th birthday....

Need help with some recommendations for putting together a picture slide show with maybe some movie clips as well. Might want to add some text onto some photos. What programs would your recommend?

I was looking at using just iPhoto Slide show but you can't do movies with it as well. Then I looked at iDVD or iMovie but not sure those are right either. Any suggestions for this? Thanks in advance.

Just got a new starter DSLR over the weekend. Nikon D3100. Im no professional at photography but I do really like taking pictures. Came with a kit lens and a 55-200mm.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for some good start off lenses that wouldn't brake my bank account. I have been looking at the 50mm 1.8 or 1.4 Prime for it. If you guys know any good online shops that would helps as well besides the norm like b&h photo and such. Thanks!

Sony e-reader Issue Jul 11, 11, 8:13 a.m.

This might be a long shot but I have a Sony Pocket Edition e-reader and I really don't use the thing anymore but i'd really like to try and get the books I do have on it either on my computer or ultimately try and get them so I can read them on my ipad.

Anyone found or know anything about this? Tried to google but came up short. Thanks in advance!

Have a friend who uninstalled internet explorer 8... he can install it back, but it never installs all the way. tried about 6-7 times. It just wont work.

Im a mac user so not really sure how this works in PC. Any insight?

So I have been doing some research on what the average cost (US) for Design Schools are now vs when previous times looking back.

The price change seems to be astronomically changed. Anyone care to share aprox how much there's was. Bachelor or Assoc. doesn't matter.

Mine went from 50K to 80K.

Need some help... A friend wants to put some text wall vinyl art up in his kids room. I know I can just refer him to get it done online somewhere but was wondering if anyone knew what kinda material they use and if you can buy it and do it yourself. I have a pretty big size printer so that shouldn't be a problem hopefully.

This might be a dumb question but Im trying to put the size of 16'x20' into illustrator but it only allows up to 227 inches.... Obviously 20' is 240 inches so is there away around this? Or Im I just completely missing something...
