Ordered some of those free Facebook business cards from moo.com and was really surprised they arrived as Euro business card dimensions (credit card size)... they came from US but assuming because moo.com is originally a UK company.

This is first time I've come across cards this size, is it the norm everywhere else in the world? I much prefer the longer ratio of a North American card, but credit card dimensions do make sense in my wallet.

been discussed many times on qbn but looking for current recommendations or alternate solutions.

i'm shopping for 4TB+ network storage, preferably RAID and swappable drives.

my desk is cluttered with single externals and would love to replace all with one unit. i'd only really be using it on network to share itunes and iphoto libraries around house.

i've always used WD MyBooks and like the design/price of their ShareSpace but it seems to get a lot of mediocre reviews.

- i've got an object with a gradient, when i rotate with bounding box the direction of grad is not rotating accordingly. like its got a global behaviour?

- rotation with rotate tool is fine. could just use this but handing over file and don't want any issues.

- my other objects with grads are not behaving like this.

any guesses? something buried in appearances? i've ungrouped and regrouped.

i understand that only certain areas contain the important data, but this can't possibly be a modified code from a generator... pretty much the whole thing is their logo.

checking if anyone knows a trick to open a multi-page pdf into 1 illustrator document with each page as an artboard?

pretty sure its a no-can-do (other than of course opening 1 page at a time and reassembling) but just thought i'd ask.

yeah yeah, call for quotes. i know. been there done that.

just trying to ballpark some costs for potential client prior to formal estimates.

i recently came across 1 local digi printer that lists some basic standard size/ saddle stitch catalogue costs. thinking this maybe more common nowadays with so many online printers.

i don't care about location at this point.
