i'm redesigning a website for a photographer and he's hinting that he doesn't want to spend too much and asked me to look into open source cms.

all i need is for the cms is to add / delete gallery categories. add / delete gallery sub category. add / delete photos to the sub category. and also for the cms to export the database into xml.

what do you guys recommend me using??
is it possible with joomla or cms mad simple??

so after 3 years and 3 months, today i got "terminated". with the quotes cos my boss says he didn't want to say i got fired.

this afternoon he called me over and we chatted about the current company situation and he goes on saying that the company cant generate enough jobs to have 2 multimedia designers.

so i was thinking march is my last month working for them. but then he hands me a letter stating my resignation from the company and another stating that today was my last day. wtf! then the hrd person was called in and he comes in with a check for 6 months of my salary for severence. wtf, again!

i was thinking do they dont like me that much and wanted me out a.s.a.p??

thinking about it now, i'm pretty much amused.

anyone has had a similar experience??

problem importing illy vector to flash Aug 17, 05, 7:28 p.m.

i'm making an interactive map for an urban development project. i got the masterplan as an autocad file and since i dont have autocad i opened the file in illustrator.

after fixing all the paths and a few more tweaks i import the file in flash.

the strokes look awful. even after changing all the strokes to hairline i cant get it to look sharp.

can anyone help me on this??
