Well, well. I'm sure there are multiple threads about this already, but I can't find them. I also believe that this is design-relevant, very much so indeed.
Anywayz, I'm geeking out on something new this week. Ethnopharmacology. And I am really in love with all the cacti and succulents that have psychoactive properties. Not that I use them, no that would be not good, but I am an avid greenthumb. Anyone here on the QBN have an experience growing the Lopho or the S. Pedro? Suggestions on where to obtain such specimens in the US? What else is out there? Anyone have growing experience. I've been looking mainly at cacti and succulents, but the list of plants goes on and on. (Iboga, Ayahuasca, Acacia...)
I was really inspired by a lecture that Fred Tomaselli gave, he was talking how his garden contained all kinds of plants (intended) for ritualistic and medicinal purposes.
