i know this is a topic that has been covered but in after effects how do i make an object seem ike it is growing, you know the trendy swirls that draw themselves on. I used vector paint effect but it doesn't seem right, I am using AE 5.0 by the way!

I'm at work and the art director has me recreating a pop-up book style image for a magazine cover. I have an image and i am making the characters look as if they are popping out of the book in photoshop. I am at my wits end, i created a mock up pop- up book for an idea on different views and shadows, then i went out and bought a pop-up book, for some help and it's been 1 week of working on this and he says i'm missing something, I don't know what i expect from you guys but i needed to vent!

This may sound like a stupid question but how to I get an updated version of quicktime on other computers that don't have an internet connection?

I downloaded the installer put it on the other computer but it needs a connection to install.
