Anyone had any success in getting a workflow utilized in Avid (MC) with RED Cam footage.

I'm told it can be done but I'm having little luck in finding info on setting up an "import / export for Color Grading" system.

Just got Final Cut working after a battery of upgrades and installs. The quality of the full res 4k files looks amazing. QT specs them at 4096 x 2048 - doesn't even fit on 2 monitors when viewing in "normal" size.

We have editors here working on Avid and FCP - thus my curiosity about the Avid workflow. Thanks.

WEST COLUMBIA POLICE

Osage Avenue, 800 block: A man called police at 2 p.m. Friday and said he and his crew of workers had been victims of indecent exposure. The man, a road crew worker, said his group was working in front of a home when a man appeared in the front door wearing a brown wig, a black dress and thigh-high boots. The man then pulled up his dress and exposed himself. The crew leader said the man did this several times, until one of the crew members yelled at him. The man then shut the door and didn’t return.

I'm becoming obsessed with reading my hometown's Police Blotter in the local paper online. You can't make some of that shit up. Anyone else have some good ones from where they're from?.

Clemson Avenue, 5000 block. Two 14-year-old boys were arrested at noon Wednesday after starting a fight in a school cafeteria. Witnesses said one boy approached the other and accused him of talking about the first boy. The accusing teen wanted to set up a time for the two to fight after school, but the accused youth reportedly said they could settle the matter immediately. Both were charged with disturbing schools and released to their parents’ custody.
