I am making a photo gallery class that is in object with different methods. In the object are movieclips.

If I use an onRelease on one of the movieclips what is the best way to refer back to the main class to reference its methods.

I can't use _parent because the initial object is not part of that hierarchy because its not a movieclip.

I have a flash nav on every page that continas a streaming sound. It starts playing on the home page but not the other pages on pc only. Anyone know why?

Does anyone have a kickass dropdown script? I keep looking but can't find one. One where you don't create a giant invisible button for when you roll off the dropdown. i want to do something I can automate more because at this time I don't what's going to be in the subnavs. Thank you.

I want to make a long nav so I'm attaching instances of a nav clip but I'm getting so much slow down on the rollover state.

Is there a better way to do this maybe just use the old button thingy but its more work.

Does anyone know why unicode .utx files for Flash on Windows servers aren't working but work fine on a Unix server.

Anybody know why my keyboard shortcuts aren't working in Macromedia MX software. Not all the shortcuts, like 50%. I'm on a powerbook. Everything was just lovely before I upgraded.
