OK, OK, I'm bored and bringin' up an old idea that never got off the ground here. Taragee and. i believe, ghost had started a forum for NT tennis (cockhat.somethingsomething).... as well did I, with a separate one at the same time just so mess around with some forum software.... well it never really got off the ground... but i got this half way built forum in php, anyone want to battle a little potatochop stylin tonight?

Don't you know viewing pantone via a monitor is horribly unreliable. Being monitors are additive light, not subtractive? And most design packages(photoshop, freehand, quark, etc.) have an extensive library of the colors..... hmph.... I should stop hating. Just wanted to keep you informed.

Hey, I'm sorta new to PHP, got some basic understanding down, but what I need to do is make an editing page that lets the viewer open up a text file or xml file in a textarea and make changes to it, then write to the file when its done. I've seen it done before, in a round about or complex way, and figured maybe one of you skilled chaps could give a fellow a hand. Thanks for any help in advance.

Ok, I've done the searching only to find big time national/international newspaper websites, but I'm looking for some good looking local-level newspaper websites. I'm going to be working on a proposal in the coming days to work on several local level newspaper sites, and just wondered what was considerred cream of the crop of local papers.... are there cream of the crop newspaper sites? I've looked at tons already within this and neighboring states, but can't seem to find anything that is truly good. Thanks for input/suggestions...

Remote Desktop Type Q Mar 3, 04, 4:53 p.m.

OK, I've inherited a junker machine, and I'm working on turning it into a entertainment machine for my living area here in my apartment, basically something linked to my main PC with the ability to snag video/audio from it and store it and play it on the TV. Now I'm just wondering if there's a way to remote assist the TV machine from my main machine like with Remote assistant, but without all the prompts, so the ease of Remote Desktop, but with the mutliscreen controllability of remote assistant.... anyone know any software that can do this? I know I know this is a design site not a tech site, but I figured it was worth an ask. Thanks in advance.

CSS Background Q's Mar 2, 04, 3:56 p.m.

OK, I've got this project I'm working on and it has a background that tiles, it spans horizontally 1240 pixels. Now I'm wondering if in CSS if with an existing background already set to loop, can you set a background image to appear, just at the bottom, to sort of close off the page, even if theres this existing background filling the rest? OR will I have to do some complicated div or table work? Thanks in advance.

So I just talked to my CPA and she tells me a company I billed for marked the income on the W2 as 'non-employee' and last year they marked it as 'other income', now she's telling me this way they're going to tax me as self-employed and that will initially make me pay 50% off the bat on that. : So now I'm confused... I want to be legit with it as much as I can. And I'm not solely self employed. I work fulltime at a print firm and then freelance about $3,000 - $5,000 a year.... argh. Well she told me to talk to the companies accountant and see if she can redo the W2 to be 'other income' what do you think???? tia.
