i'm thinking of replacing my G4 867Ghz. with a new or newer mac. i have narrow it down to two.

a powermac G5 dual 2.7Ghz. with ATI 9650 (256mb) card. (these where new around '05, i think)

vs.

imac 2.8Ghz (intel) with ATI HD 2600 pro (256mb) card.

both has 2 gb ram, i will pop in 4gb.

now, i do most work with photoshop, illustrator and indesign. but my girl use it for maya and final cut.

what do you think would work be better? as in faster. etc.

I am looking at a getting a extra battery to the xl1s (canon) camcorder. i got the BP-930 and an original one cost around $100. now, other ones that fits cost around $20. (no brands)

Question is...
the orginal one says "3000mAh", now if the copy one says "4000mAh". will there be any problems?
or will the copy one last longer?
