I have the great privilege of counting some very talented people as friends. One such friend has recently launched a "Fashion Blogazine" entitled Set Your Style. If you're into fashion, art or simply looking for inspiration, I would highly recommend bookmarking or adding this site to your RSS feed... it's only going to get better!
The mighty DixonBaxi will be giving a talk at the London College of Communication next week as part of the Talking Graphics Open Lecture series. They'll be talking about 'The DixonBaxi Way' – if you've not heard Simon and Aporva speak before, I would HIGHLY recommend heading over to LCC next Thursday. They're sure to leave you extremely inspired!
Tickets are £5 (£3 for UAL students and staff with valid ID cards) cash only on the door – tickets include a beer after the lecture (bonus!).
Reserve your place by emailing graphics@lcc.arts.ac.uk

Mad in Spain is just over 1 week away. The conference is being held on 21st and 22nd September and features internationally renowned agencies including Attik, de-construct, Wieden + Kennedy, Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
Tickets are running out fast so if you plan to attend and don't already have a ticket grab one here.
Myself and some of the Mutado crew will be there, please come over and say hello. See you in Madrid!
BD4D has partnered with the Wellcome Collection to bring you a new interactive competition with some fantastic prizes. More importantly, it's a platform that could potentially give you a name for yourself if you are one of the prize winners - your work will be showcased online as well as at the Wellcome Collection Gallery in London! Find out more here.
Incase you hadn't noticed, BD4D has been re-designed too... One of the main focuses of the new site was to make it more open. So, you can now find out and add creative and tech events, to the calendar, to make sure that the rest of the community know about and don't miss these events. The showcase section has been updated and the news feed has morphed into a little blog.
Call for entries
