A mate and I are thinking of going off on a motorcycle holiday around Europe next year.
Anyone done this before?

What are some good resources to know where to go, what routes to take, etc?

Travelling to San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, in April where my bro is getting married.

Haven't been in either of these places before, so wondering where to go, what to do and what to eat.

Need to send someone a case of beer. Not a mate, but somebody who highly recommended me for a job and i got it. This person has also expressed interest in hiring me in the future.

To set the context, this person is in a senior creative role, English, working in the digital media space in Sydney.

I was initially going to go with an expensive Champagne but thought an expensve case of beer may be better.

I had one of the best burgers of my life at Hurricanes in Bondi. It was the Beef Burger with Pepper Sauce. I asked for Aoli as well.

It's one of those places that asks you how you want it cooked. Noice!

UFC 111 anounced GSP vs Dan Hardy and Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin.

I've gotta back GSP in this one, and I'm really liking Mir. He dumped all his trainers after his loss to Lesnar and is as fierce as ever. Carwin has the biggest mits in the UFC but he'll need more than that aginst Mir. This is for the iterim belt.

Lesnar however may be out for up to 2 years with an infection in his small intestine. This means whoever takes out the iterim belt, could possibly be waiting 2 years for a chance at the title.

Meanwhile I missed out on tickets to UFC 110 in Sydney. Pretty upset considering it's such an awesome fight card.

You've probably noticed that people within certain professions communicate in a certain way. I'm not just talking about industry terminology which forms the basis for the lingo, but more subtle nuances, such as chefs who end all their sentences with, "yeah?".

eg. "2 scallop, 1 linguini, 1 rib eye, medium rare and 1 salmon; and make it fast! yeah?"

I've now noticed that people in I.T. begin all their sentences with, "sooooo...".

eg. "Sooooo, the server only brings back only primary bio data for user.... blah blah blah"

anyone noticed this?

is there a "designer lingo", where designers say things a certain way to sound like designers?

I read his book on "Fixing Failed States" and I think he has got the method to rebuild the country.

The greatest hurdle will be the mass corruption in the government.
