Hong Kong Feb 23, 12, 8:04 a.m.
In 3 weeks I am going to Hong Kong for 2 weeks. Besides eating everything in sight and trying to hang out with Jevad, anyone have any suggestions? I am going to Macau and Shenzhen for one day each, but otherwise will be spending most of my time in the city. Thanks.
Windows software on Mac Feb 8, 12, 6:39 a.m.
Hello, I work for a publishing company (like Jackie Treehorn). Our Editorial staff mostly use Windows-based laptops but a few of them have Macs. There is Editorial software that lets them share files, mostly text and Word docs. It does versioning, revisions etc.
Not available for the Mac. I see that there is software such as Parallels http://www.parallels.com/product… that will allow them to run Windows software windowed in the Mac environment. Anyone have any experience with this? If not, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
Lumix DMC LX5 Dec 2, 11, 4:48 a.m.
Not spam, this popped up in my feeds this morning. Many of you guys ask about good point and shoots from time to time. $269 USD is insanely cheap, this thing normally goes for around $500.

I need to be testing out the new version of Digg for work. Any of you have accounts on it? I'd like to follow some QBNers
iPhone Audio player Aug 18, 10, 7:19 p.m.
Testing out a jQuery/html5 audio player for the iPhone. Want to help test it?
I am curious what other devices/browsers it works in. It works like a champ on my iPhone, but it doesn't work in Chrome on a PC. I thought it would work in a webkit browser but I am not sure. Any android phone users that can test please? I would really appreciate it. It really is only designed to work on phones, but I am just curious.
Found this and modded it.
Mario iPhone Ringtones Aug 17, 10, 5:34 p.m.

What the font? I tried the web app, "What the Font?", but it didn't seem to find it, so I figured I would consult the pro's. Thanks.

Thinking about a trip there next year. I found a few threads, but am looking for what neighborhoods I should be staying in, temples, shopping, nightlife and what not. Any help would be dope.

This is someone's review:
Onra is a self proclaimed vinyl junkie, who goes on vacation to his grandparents’ birthplace, Saigon. Returning to France with a treasured collection of 30 records (all in poor condition), Onra sets off to layering beats on top of forgotten samples that capture the soul of Viet Nam. Chinoiseries, is a compilation of instrumental hip-hop vignettes, each offering a quick glimpse at the music from this distant land. Although a bit repetitive, too short, and lacking progression, it is the ideas and the approach behind each track that make this a brilliant composition. Still full of crackles and hiss, the raw production will inspire any crate digger to venture further out in search of exotic material. This is an essential addition to any lover of lo-fi beats (please restrain yourself from rapping). And your purchase will also go to a good cause! "All proceeds from the sale of the [CD format of the -ed] album will be donated to ’La Goutte d’Eau’ association (la-goutte-deau dot com) to help their humanitarian operations for Vietnamese people." Recommended if you like J Dilla, MF Doom, Madlib, RZA, Flying Lotus, and The Big Payback.
