Wanted to let you sports fans know about a site my friends and I just put together. We call it Project Franchise, and our goal is to purchase a professional sports team and have it run by the fans. We initially launched a sign up site which I believe was posted here. We're on to phase 2 and we now have a fully functional site!

We literally just launched and have been testing our forums, but we need some real sports fans to clog up our boards! I know QBN isn't a huge sports lovers paradise, so when you're done clicking on links to design love, head to www.projectfranchise.org and take a look around. I'm in the market for a new audio receiver or a home theater system. Right now I have a Sony 5.1 surround audio receiver, with a sub and 5 speakers, but it's about 6 years old. I'd love to find one with HDMI (if those exist) or a home theater system with HDMI, 5.1, speakers, etc. Looking to spend under $200. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Have a Samsung 32" right now but it's leaving me at the end of the month. Anyone hear anything about Olevia? Is it crap or decent? Any other sugs?

A digital filmmaker named Dennis Liu has made an amazing video for The Bird And The Bee’s lovely song “Again & Again”. The set? His Mac desktop. You sort of have to see it for yourself to understand; luckily, Dennis has dropped it on YouTube so that the world can see it in low-res glory.

Anyone know of any SDK Apps in development with previews? I haven't run across any but I'm assuming they're starting to pop up on various sites (or at least will be soon).

A few years ago, I accidentally dragged my entire font collection (at the time it was at least 1,000 fonts) into my dock. I was on a G4 PowerBook and It was hell...I could hardly move my mouse and I started dragging each font out one by one but it would take about 2 minutes per font.

Couldn't find any help online. So I finally broke down and called a Mac fixer buddy who had me trash the plist. It worked, but I was miserable for about 2 days.

Here's the sit. I have Guitar Hero 2 and 3 for the 360 but I'm getting tired of them. I hear great things about Rock Band, but I don't want a whole set up in my living room. Should I sell my Guitar Heros and pick up Rock Band? Worth it?

Anyone have a case that they've dropped? I've gone through about 4 cases and I still am not crazy about the one I have. I like the fact that it's clear and solid, but I recently dropped my phone and needed to have it replaced (which they did for free). But I'm thinking maybe a rubber case is more shock absorbent? Any recs?

Not that I'd actually be able to get a program up and running, but I wanna download the SDK development kit and it keeps telling me that it's "trying my request again." It's been happening since last night, happened again earlier this morning, and now again at work. I received an email telling me to "click here" to download the software, but nothing's happening. Has anyone actually downloaded it yet?
