Fold mark measurements Sep 20, 10, 4:28 a.m.

Quick question:
If you are putting fold marks on a standard A4 letterhead with two folds, what measurements do you use? I normally put the first mark 99mm from the top, so that you get a lip when folded, but I've seen people use different measurements, thoughts?

Im after CS5 design premium or maybe just standard; I know we all get ripped off with CS5 here in the UK - getting stuff abroad seems to have difficulties attached, so Im wondering if anyone knows where to go to get the best deals on CS5 full retail?

Thinking about buying either colour bridge (coated+Uncoated), or the regular pantone solid colour matching system.

Would I be right in thinking that the colour bridge books are more useful as I do web stuff also? Does Colour Bridge have all the spot colours? Any problems with the printers with the new plus system?

Anyone using them have any advise?

Hello chaps and chapettes,

If you are used to working with fashion brands, I wanted to pick your brains...

I've been asked to quote for designing a 45 page fashion catalogue, and although I have got print experience, I have never done a large catalogue for a high fashion brand, so my questions are:

a. In your experience how long would something like this take a designer to design all the elements together for final artwork?

b. What kind of budget (excluding the print) would you roughly estimate for a job like this.
