Looks really great! For some reason I've not payed much attention to this. How were people selected for inclusion?
- version30
i believe it had something to do with being on a list that was approved by a member who put a cap on the limit then other member(s) took out what they did not like in the form of "editing" to arrive at the book still yet publicly unpublished.

is that the official book or just a preview? as in are there more people going to be in it?
- robotron3k0
yes!

Has any thought been put into using a service like http://www.blurb.com/ to get the books printed? Since it looks like all proceeds are going to the foundation, not sure how that would work, but it would essentially let people order one-off books whenever they wanted to.

wow, looks great. hadn't seen this before, would have liked to have contributed.

I would have liked to have contributed as well. I don't know how I missed this in all honesty - there's always been these QBN book threads floating around but maybe I thought those were the art book that's being passed around to certain people.
Anyhow, from what I know of blurb (almost used it once) the quality is very good; there would be some layout constraints but it's nothing that couldn't be edited as far as the whole layout. From the looks of the web based book on the site I think much of the design could be adjusted to fit any of their rules.
You could do a softcover book that's 121-160 pages for $36.95 per book. Check out the pricing page at http://www.blurb.com/create/book…
