Bro. Packlane fucked up. But... it was on me too. I printed a bright design on their craft box and the color completely disappeared. Looked like shit. I should have known better. They warned that there would be a loss of brightness but, this was next level loss.
I'm sure their stuff on white boxes is fine. If I were to do it again, I would have printed a layer of white ink first on the craft box then the color on top. I should have known to do that, but I would think that Packlane would do a better job suggesting that as option well before going to press.
We ended up rushing to do another box with a local printer with press check. $10k loss thanks to my bright idea to with an online vendor.
- dang. Printer really, really should have stressed the importance of a white hit. It's on them, really.Gnash
- I've printed on craft for packaging and it needed a double-hit of white, one wasn't' enough (paper soaked it up)Gnash
- "loss of brightness" doesn't even come close to being accurate. they were in the wrong here.Gnash
- that sucks dude sorry! Gnash has a great point about a "double hit" of white.utopian

I've used oxopackaging.com with some success. Did a custom envelope for me. Very diligent customer service. The company is in CA but the items arrived from Pakistan.
