so i have to go for blood test in like half an hour.
the thing is i have to go semi-boozeless for next two weeks and i spent the entire weekend drinking anything that was passed to me.
i'm wondering if booze shows up on blood test? and if so, how long does it stay in my blood?
(i can postpone the test until wed).

At least 24 hours I'd think...

What's the test for?

it's already out, don't worry

what on earth would you need a blood test for?

i've been having some kind of strange stomach or possible kidney-related illness that does not go away - it's strange since there's no pain associated with it.
doctor gave me some pills to take and asked me to get blood test to get some confirmation on various theories.
unfortunately, the pill has strange interaction with booze therefore i cannot drink when i take the pill.
(i'll be making one exception for the saturday kickball).it could also be stomach inflamation caused by too much drinking so she asked me to stop drinking for a while.
*sigh*

the last booze i had was around 6pm yesterday.

is it a bladder infection - you know honeymooners disease.

I wonder how long "all of the above" would stay in your system?

i will quit drinking if it was confirmed that booze is causing the illness.
i don't think it is - my stomach interacts negatively with food but not with fluids (including booze).

i WISH it was bladder infection.

A buddy of mine got major smackdown for DUI and all that shit about 5 years ago. HE went to counseling and he mentioned to me that it takes the body 1 hour per 2 oz's of liquor or per 1 beer to metabolize the alcohol out of the system. For example: if you drank 12 beers, it would take approx. 12 hours for it all to be completely flushed out of your system.
