Firewire HELP

I have a Generic 80 gig Firewire Drive that was hoke dup to my pc no problem. When I hook it up to my Mac, it wants to initialize it.. any ideas how to get it to work on the MAc.

The Mac should read it fine, even if it's formatted for the PC. If it's empty try formating on the Mac, using Drive Setup (OS9) or Disc Utility (OSX). Make sure you select a format that a PC can work with.

nice thing about mac's is when its time to update..you have to buy a new computer..there nice as hell i'll give them that..but if you dont have the money.. go PC.... if not live in DV cam, PC cam hell.... personaly i have 2 G4's and 3 P4's XP*.
If you can't deal with money to update..i would sugest a PC..
