ok, so I got this 30-second flash thing that I have to export as an .AVI file. Trying to do this directly from Flash as an uncompressed avi looks really choppy and for some reason, is like much longer than it is supposed to be...
Is there a better way to do this?
Thanks,
Chris

Just export it to an AVI but not uncompressed. There is a bug in windows (not XP) so it looks like you can not choose a compression, but you can. Go up or down with the the arrows on your keyboard.
A flash to TV/Video thread has been here before, search for it and you might get a couple of good tips.

couple questions:
1. what are you going to do with the movie once you export it?2. What is the physical (pixel size) of the movie?
3. Is the image quality choppy or the playback choppy?
I would expect that an uncompressed, full size (720x480) .avi might have playback difficulties on anything but an extremely high-end machine.

Export to quicktime and then convert to AVI?
