The new Scifi tv logo stinks. Looks like the Earthlink symbol. Probably designed by commitee.

I've alway been a fan of their branding, love TAKEN and the EXPOSUR3 logos.
I see what you mean with the rebrand. Any idea who did it?

i like their website but there is too much damn clicking around to view anything. it becomes a real pain the ass.

i think it's telling they rather put the 2001 starchild on their homepage rather than the new scifi logo. actually, I can't find the scifi logo anywhere on that site...

The logo *could* work if swooshes weren't so played out. It's fine if you ignore other logos.
The typeface with it is poor too.

I know that Scfi was fishin around for a new site . . . and my friends' company flew out to meet with them . . .
I dunno what came of it yet, however . . .
If it does come to fruition, however - it will be mucho-badass.

The logo has the right idea, but poor execution.
It's interesting to see reaction on corporate logo design from people who don't really seem to understand the concept of logo design.
It's easy to make something look cool - a different story to make it effective and memorable. As much as you may or may not like the Sci-Fi logo or the EarthLink logo, you do remember it.

There's not much to remember. Especially with most of the logo looking like Nike. Kinda looks like they just threw in a new logo for free since they got to do SciFi's identity bumpers.
And Saturn looks horribly oblong.
