Whats your favorite all time Christmas tune?
Slade?
Shakin Stevens?

That one done in the eighties, with like Bono, Boy George, Wham. Feed the World. Cheezy I know, but I like it. "It's Christmas time, there's no need to be afraid..." Let the bashing begin...

Hmmm. Bono's line isn't very nice though is it...
"And tonight thank God it's them, instead of you."
Very nice. Sure he was thrilled about getting that line.
It's gotta be Slade for me! Cup-a-soup!

What about the one with Shawn McGowan in it. Singing a duet with a woman. Don't know if it was the Pogues.

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl, Fairytale of New York. Forgot about that one. Nice choice.
Kirsty MacColl has the best celebrity death record - ran over by a speed boat. What a way to go!

yeah I think it was Band Aid too...Bono's line wasn't the greatest, but I'm looking at the song's whole effect. It's a Christmas-y song, but it made you realize -issues. Other than that, Johnny Mathis songs always make me feel very Christmas oriented.
