people complain about negativity, bashing, etc... but you are guaranteed one thing by posting your work here - the truth -- you will know if it is communicating or if it is time to go back to the drawing board - that can be very valuable -- nothing worse than floating through design school doing subpar work but no one speaks up because they don't want to hurt your feelings
at least you can depend on an honest opinion here

nicely said matt... I just gotta gripe with positivity and stuff... a guy at my work has been sworn to positivity and positive comment for a week and it's done him no end of good. It makes you look for the good and give people a break-dammit, ta bonseff, I think, unless you're being clever/sarcastic?!...
