Maybe you weren't looking for architecture, but Oscar Niemeyer is one of the great ones. Brasilia was quite an achievement.

There's an article in this months creative review about a young Brazilian designer.

he's right you know: i wrote it! it was about nando costa, one of the most interesting graphics/motion graphics guys around. his site is hungryfordesign.com and he's just finished working on the brasilinspired.com project which surveys the brazil scene at the moment. you can read my article here creativereview.co.uk
