Basically what ive got goin on , in essence, is and image, bigger than the composition gradually going from extremely blured, shrinking and becoming sharper till it fits the window.

PROBLEM: because im playing with the image (photograph), when i render it, theres lots of pixel style lines etc when my shrinking and blurring is happening. SO instead of shrinking the image and distorting it, maybe i should use a camera in the scene, is this correct??......

also, should i use vector text rather than ps, layer text in after effects, same kinda effect happening like with the image, needs to be smoother..

so i using cameras and vectors the ansmwer, if so let me know.

p.s. any tutorials on camera use in AE would be helpful too.thansk a bunch!!!!!

I don't think the camera should make a difference, although I've never done tests...

it be nice to make your image in photoshop like twice the size of the composition, that way you dont need to enlarge it, in fact, never enlarge your images too much.

PS text doesnt matter as long as you have everything at the right size, allways bigger if you plan on zooming in.

make sure you turn antialias on in aftereffects.
if antialias is off, then it will look pixelated.

yeah make sure aliased/high quality is on (the little / line on your layer should be / not ).

also you may have your render settings at 50% or somethen. make sure both size and quality is at 100% to get a proper idea of what it will look like. for tests, keep it at 50/50 to save time.

if all of the above is already to your knowledge, sorry for being patrionising!
