New online campaing launches at PacSun.com. Design and development was done entirely inhouse over the course of 7 months. The application server is based in java on Websphere Commerce, and the presentation layer is entirely tableless css. The css is dynamicaly generated from the java and the images and flash are being served by scene7 application servers. Flash remoting is being used to interface with Webspere, and the entire checkout process has been reworked. We conducted approximately 50 usability studies and based much of our new design and development on that research.
After many, many comp and re-comps, many technical and political setbacks this $20 million site for a $1.3 billion company finally launches. Now for a nap...
