Where's the best place these days to look for high quality textures for use in 3d these days? Havent done this in a long time. Need to find some type of cool looking seamless glass type surface. Like a shiny volcanic rock texture.

I have purchased a few well crafted textural backgrounds here.

You pay for the quality though. Top notch.

My office has an account with textures.com mostly for solid materials - wood, grass, concrete, etc, etc. etc.
But if you're looking to replicate glass, best (and only) way is to make a physical material rather than relying on an image. The mapping will be wrong and there will be no shine or refraction in the correct places according to the object you are mapping it onto.
You could make corresponding spec / roughness and normal maps but even then it'll look like shit under any kind of scrutiny.

^ Problem is this is going into VR so I cant do any crazy physical surface deforming materials. I just have to get something flat that looks decent enough.

maybe look into parallax mapping. Should be suitable for real-time.
