Does anyone of you know a software or Photoshop plugin to use vectorscopes (scopes) on still images for color grading photos?
It is such a powerful tool with the skin tone indicator on videos, but someone I can't find anything similar for stills. 30 years of Photoshop, there must be something out there.
Thank you

Doesn't Davinci Resolve also do images? Yeah photoshop & lightroom are annoying. retouching an architectural shoot now and ugh....

I tried Davinci Resolve. I can grade a jpg with it and output as jpeg2000 or tif, but it feels odd and wrong, e.g. when working on a 60mp resolution.
I only want the skin tone indicator in PS. Can’t be so difficult.

Affinity Photo ?

It has vectorscope, but does it also display the skin tone indicator? I don’t have the program. Could you please check this for me?

Blender3d has a whole bunch of colour correction/compositing tools built in. Vector scopes (with skintone line) and waveform monitor included. It handles a wide range of file types, though maybe not RAWs, you might need to save minimally adjusted RAWs as (linear?) high bit depth tiffs or openexr for best results.
And it's free.

- Thank you. I downloaded it and tried it out but couldn't figure out how to load even JPGs. Seems a too difficult approach using 3D software. But thank you!SimonFFM
- It's a big complicated program, for sure. Maybe more technical than you need, but this might help get you started: https://www.youtube.…monNom

Yes, I use C1 for a long time. Maybe it’s better and I was just crazy hoping this indicator does work better.
