Just trying to explain to younger co-workers about Adobe Fireworks and how good it was.
Anyone still use it? What do you use now? The effects were so damn good!

I still use it!
One of my favorite tools to this day.
Have been using it since the Macromedia days....going on 18 years now!

Yeah they stopped making it at CS6.
There is nothing out there that touches it in my opinion.

You can still use it today without a doubt - had artboards (pages), symbols, vector+raster editing in the same file, css + html export, great .gif export, native .png files, everything you need since 2012, running smoothly on 8GB of RAM and a Intel Core 2 processor!
Basically all today's design tools are copies of Fireworks and if you ask a product designer with 5 years experience about it, probably he will laugh in your face such an advanced tool existed before his career started :)
Kids these days battle over Sketch vs. Figma pfft...

Yeah it was good but outdated since 10+ years. You guys should take a look into Sketch and Xd
