Apparently, Apple wants to confirm their uselessness by not supporting Quicktime Pro for Mojave. FlipForMac exports a decent WMV. Is there anything else you would recommend for a replacement?

Mpeg Streamclip and Handbrake is all you need.

I remember when they stopped supporting flash for "being proprietary software" and made me install quicktime to watch their keynote, which was only watchable with safari.

so now the entire post production world has to switch from a mov pipeline ... are they aware how many companies use macs for the ease of mov playing (not creation!).
Mind boggles.
ffmpeg - bitch to compile, bitch to learn, bitch to use but everything and one uses this.
