Rolling landscape afx?

I saw a tutorial a while back but can't find now - wondering if any of you motion cats know of any that may be helpful / similar...
Essentially, the cam is facing forward over a looping road for instance, so trees or rocks would roll forward towards screen.
The landscape was round - so against flat earth beliefs haha.
This is the worst example, so please forgive - but you can see material like foliage, rock structures, etc flowing past. Also imagine if landscape was more spherical, so warped on the sides....

This one is really simple and for Cinema 4d. It explains some of the fakery needed to make it loop. Might not work for a sphere though.
