Hi everyone who's leaving in Glasgow, I've been victim of a fraud by a stock broker who is disappeared after erasing my account. I can't enter more in detail right now because I'm too pissed and upset but I was wondering if someone in Glasgow could do some digging to this company i'm going to tell you (if they exist i guess) and if someone of you know the right office or person to investigate...
I'm writing here out to solidarity with the old news today pals.

Search gov.uk companies house for any company/director details is they exist then contact the police.
- Also, make sure you contact your bank if any details were given immediately.monoboy
- yeah, companies house. I guess look for a name and use social media to pin them down to a location?Fax_Benson
- Domain registrations are a good one. Folks often forget their address details show up on whois records. Classic.monoboy

if you go to the police it'll be best to have as much info as possible. they'll ignore anything vague.

If you need legal advice and can't afford regular representation approach the Law Clinic at Glasgow University.
http://www.gcu.ac.uk/lawclinic/
They are staffed by practicing law students, overseen by qualified lawyers and do very good work. A friend of mine used them to pursue a personal finance case and they handled it extremely well.
- That's a bloody good and bloody helpful suggestion!microkorg
- The process can be slower as the students are, well, students and naturally have course work but the cases are worked on by others.face_melter

I have some updates: they say that somebody hacked their site with an IP located in my hometown in Italy (they want to think it was me) but I'm in Spain for a vacation and i didn't touch a computer until this morning... I have reported to police in Italy but i'm afraid is gonna take forever to clear my position...
- now, now, this is interesting...renderedred
- Aah, the old 'hacking' line. Such horseshit.face_melter

So I'd say someone you know in your hometown stole all your money. Sounds like a job for Italian police? Probably someone you know! The coincidence is too big I'm sorry.
