So I have Bose noise cancelling headphones - I love them but I treat them good...
I use them at work, on trains and planes etc.
About 18 months ago I bought some beats in ear WIRED headphones and took them back after a day. I thought they were shit and the white apple ones were just as good.
Fast forward to late 2016. I purchased a $20 par of wireless headphone from amazon. They were NOT claiming to be Beats rip of but they are red etc. The sounds isn't THAT good but hey they were $20.
I am genuinely thinking of dropping some dough on the Beats wireless headphones solely for the gym etc ie NOT work.
Would you go Beats or Bose?
Anyone tried them both?
Any help would be great
Cheers

I'm all Sennheiser over here and loving it.
I always thought Bose added too much texture to their speakers, and frankly I won't try Beats on principle.

Beats are too expensive for what they are.
Check out Flossy Carter on YouTube, he does/has done a ton of headphone reviews - ranging from cheaper in-the-ear buds to expensive ear goggles. He covers all brands - Monster, Beats, Bludio, Sony, Bose...

If those are your 2 only options. Don't go with beats.

Hushme may be the weirdest, yet most useful wireless headphone ever created

Nothing says I am mega-douche like a big set of headphones.

I just love my wireless Bose headphones. worth every penny. the best surprising feature i didn't think i'd need was its cord capability, to also use them as studio headphones with a 1/4" adapter.
- Ew. Bose in a studio?monospaced

- Well the ones I have are built for home and travel with wireless and noise cancelling you're paying 4-5 times more than you'd actually need to reference.omg
- mono you brand whore. lolomg
- Brand whore? You're the one saying you use Bose in a studio. That's just stupid.monospaced

these are wired, but wireless only = batteries and recharging and weight and faff...
Audio quality on these is perfect, detailed and balanced:

I have the Beats wireless in-ear headphones. I love the sound and fit. They stay in my ears when I work out and last quite a while. To be honest I got them for free (won a raffle) and probably wouldn't have spent the coin on them to purchase.
I also have a pair of the Jaybird x3s which I also got for free. I also like the fit of these but I've noticed I can't wear them for more than a couple of hours or it hurts my ear holes. The sound doesn't feel as deep or full as the Beats but it's a better sound than some of the other headphones I've had.
I also have a pair of the Beats on-ear Wireless which I use for watching movies on the iPad at home and what not. I rarely work out with them and these are wonderful. I've tried the Bose wireless versions at Target and I will say the sound cancelling of Bose is way better. I just don't care for the look of the Bose headphones. These were the only headphones I bought but it was because my last company got a huge discount on them and they were 1/2 off.
At the end of the day, buy what you want and what works best for you and your ear holes. lol

Ive got a set of the bose 35's and here are my thoughts.
Sounds better than my equally priced xbox headset
Pairs easy with iPhone 7 and older macs NOT on Sierra.
Cant pair to my home box due to the above issue.
Battery life is great too. Listening all day + moonlighting at night and it has battery to spare afterwards.
Recharging is quick too.GL

Generally wouldn't bother with Bose, but bought the 35's for travel as this past year I've been in airports more than at home. Agree with dorkKn1ght in that the battery life is great - and extremely comfortable. They're Bose, so not exactly nuanced sound, but I wanted noise cancellation above all else and there's just no comparison between them and the competition. Do wish there was a way to turn off the noise cancellation if wanted, but all in all I'm really satisfied.
